Until September 26th, pharmacists have a unique opportunity to join the Polish Armed Forces and participate in a six-month officer training course. Recruitment is organized by the Naval Academy in Gdynia, and 11 places are available for pharmacy specialists. Participation in the course not only provides the opportunity to represent the profession within the military but also provides stable and attractive financial conditions.

On August 18, the Minister of National Defence signed a decision regarding recruitment to military universities for the officer course organized by the Naval Academy in Gdynia, which will begin in 2026. Eleven places are planned for pharmacists .
The aim of the course is to prepare pharmacists for honorable service as officers in the structures of the Polish Armed Forces, emphasizes Brigadier General Piotr Wagner from the Inspectorate for Support of the Armed Forces.
The Inspectorate's structure for 2026 has nine positions reserved for pharmacists, while two more are available from the General Command of the Armed Forces. This means that those who choose to participate in the course will have the opportunity to serve in various units of the Armed Forces , gaining experience in military work and in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
